Here’s a little honey to brighten your day:

Justice is served!

After a video of Officer Eric Casebolt, goes viral of him ruthlessly slamming a young teenage African-American girl, wearing nothing but a bathing suit, down to the ground after restraining her at a local pool party has resigned from his post.

The commissioner finds the actions of Eric Casebolt, now former officer of the McKinney Police Department,  to be inappropriate and insensible! Casebolt’s actions has caused his leave behind 10-years of service dedicated to the McKinney PD. Officer Terry Qualls, Police spokesman, confirms that Casebolt is officially off the force!

This is some very enlightening news..if I do say so myself. Officers are finally being forced to take responsibility for their wrongful actions, while later facing the consequences following.

CNN reports “Just days after a video that went viral online showed him yanking a 14-year-old bikini-clad girl to the ground and kneeling on her back, Eric Casebolt has resigned from his post as a corporal for the Police Department in McKinney, Texas.”

During the aftermath of the incident, as the video went viral, witnesses declared this as an act of racism. Many watched as Casebolt swore at teenagers as he chased them, after drawing his gun and slamming the young girl to the ground.

Check out the video of the craziness below:

Who was the guy in the tan shirt and blue jean shorts? Why was allowed to assist police in getting the situation under control? Hmm… these are questions that’ll continue to buzz about as this investigation continues.

The McKinney Police Department confirms that their investigation will continue. Do you think we’re off to a good start towards equality?
