What’s next? Yesterday morning I saw this question pop up over every social media account I have. What’s next? Do you guys see how idiotic this sounds? Like what do you all mean what’s next? I seriously need help understanding this question because the same thing that came next yesterday and the day before, will come tomorrow. You’ll continue to live your life the same way you did when President Clinton, Bush and Obama were in office, we as Americans must allow Trump to make no difference.
Ladies, Sweetest Day is swiftly approaching and I’m sure we all want to get the love of our life together on this amazing day to show our appreciation. Why not do it the right way, their way and not ours? Here I have 10 tips on the do’s and don’ts to make this holiday one to remember for the special someone in our lives:
VOTE!!! I can’t stress this enough, vote! If we don’t get out there and vote, this country will be more jacked up than what it is today. I solute Barack Obama to the fullest because he has done more than a job well done but this country will not continue to move in the right direct if Donald Trump is elected. Let’s be serious, how do you even go from reality TV to politician with no real background in politics. That’s just like me running for president. Even though I have a degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science I still wouldn’t be able to take my own self serious trying to run an entire country. It even baffles me that this is the joker the Republican Party chose as their presidential candidate. Never in my 22 years of life have I heard so many republicans second guess their own candidate until now, that should even be an alarm for us all to get out and vote.
Beyoncé released her amazing visual album at the beginning of 2016 that had each and every woman in this world craving Lemonade like crazy, but are we back to sipping our tea yet or has lemonade become the new thing? I’m not sure what’s going on but I do have something for all of you to sip on and the tea of the day happens to be ‘Minding Your Own Business.’
What started as an illegal act of earning money has now gone viral and on to be one of the most epic topics of any conversation had in today’s society. Swiping or scamming, which can be classified as new terminology for stealing has become one of the top sources of income for teenagers and young adults all throughout the United States of America.
Okay, let’s take a minute to blast our feelings on the floor about Power! With things heating up there’s one thing I know for sure and that’s the amount of hate Holly has for Ghost, now that’s ridiculous! She hates Mr. James St. Patrick so much that it almost makes me hate her ten times worst in real life, not the fake one we see on TV. If I had things my way, I’d for sure change the tagline of the show to ‘Holly Must Die’ as I’m sure many of you have seen on social media. I mean, come on Holly, give the man a break here!!!
“In a world full of Kardashians, be a Letty” or “In a world full of Kardashians, be Ayesha Curry” are two meme captions that perfectly describes the story behind this post. Be you. It’s just that simple. Don’t let society pick who you are going to be; be who and whatever makes you happy. If you are sincerely a Letty, an Ayesha Curry or even a Kardashian, be that and be the best you that you can be!
Freshman year at Michigan State University was a big headache for me; I didn’t know my way around campus, didn’t know how to catch the bus, didn’t know how to buy books and most importantly, I yelled ‘Yea… Go Green’ when someone said ‘Go Green’ to me. Here I have provided ten tips that will help any MSU freshman have a successful first year in East Lansing:
So what now? Another hashtag, another million likes or another thousand shares on any social media site? What will it take for the killing of African Americans to come to an end? I normally don’t get involved in societal problems nor do I ever have much to say but today, I am highly upset because something needs to be done and I can almost guarantee you that it takes more than a hashtag to make a difference. We if we as African Americans want change to happen in our lives, we must go out there and get it on our own and it starts with education. The answer to this problem we are facing today is education; once we (especially our black men) are better educated in every area of life, this country would be much easier to live. Get educated by simply enlightening the soul with tools and information that will help us succeed in life and beat the odds set in place against us.

We’ve all been told to strive for nothing but success with no proper training of how to do so. Success comes to some with extreme ease while others have to go to the moon and back just to finish the last page written in their book. But this is something none of us know how to accomplish correctly so here I will provide you with seven different ways on how to become successful: have faith, be humble, have a plan, stay focused, be prepared for road blocks, invest and most importantly, grind!

Dating in 2016 has become extremely rare, starting controversy all throughout the world. It can be compared to a college graduate coming straight out of a four year university with a full-time position waiting in their desired area of interest making over 80k a year; not logical or realistic, a joke right? Modern day dating has come to the point where marriage and everlasting relationships aren’t even idolized anymore, just “something to do when there’s nothing to do” as I’ve heard many young adults and teenagers label the situation. But how do we stop this madness and get back to the way dating is supposed to be with hopes of possible children and longevity in marriages, something like old school R&B? Raising your standards and eliminating the many different relationship platform influences are two of the most important factors affecting the dating scene in 2016.
