Meek Mill has not only been bodied by a singing rapper, but also by a rapper that will soon have his own lipstick via Tom Ford. According to Buzzfeed the lipstick will be named after Drake and will be available here for $52.
The lipstick will reportedly be released on October 30th– just a few days after Drizzy’s birthday–as apart of Ford’s Lips & Boys collection.
If Drake had any input in the color choice, then he definitely likes his women with a darker lip because the shade of the lipstick will be a metallic burgundy.
Looks like 2015 really is a time to be alive. Will you be shelling out $52 to have Drake on your lips?
I’m going to go ahead and give myself a point. When I talked about upcoming music I said “what a time to be alive” in a few years when I’m sipping a martini and living with the beautiful people I’m going to give myself the credit for the title of Drake and Future’s new album.
Let’s give a round of applause for Future, he’s managed to make most of us forget that he really is trifling for the situation with Ciara. Released DS2 and now this?
And Aubrey! Let’s go ahead and say Drake won this year. 2015 is poppin’ for Drake, to be sure. He drags Meek Mill, releases an album, and we’re still waiting on Views from the Six. His music is going to be the soundtrack of my Senior year. And I’m not mad about it at all.
Were not your hearts filled? What are some of your favorite tracks from the album? What projects are you looking forward to?
And ain’t Frank Ocean promise us an album like…months ago?
Rumors have been continually fueled by sightings of Drake in the crowd at Serena’s matches. He was in attendance when Williams won the WTA tournament. Shortly after her win the two went to a fancy Sotto restaurant in downtown Cincinnati for Italian food.
According to TMZ Sports, the two had a private room in the back of the restaurant and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. The two were joined by a group of friends and at one point even ordered a round of shots for the table.
Game on Serena and Drake, game on.

At this point, everyone is aware of the ongoing beef between Drake and Meek Mill. Not only did Meek start and lose this beef, but he’s currently in the process of being investigated by the WWE for use of their theme song in his lack luster Drake diss track- but that’s another story.
In Meek’s diss track, “Wanna Know,” he referenced Ja Rule and 50 Cent’s decade old beef: “Real ni**as back in style / This sh*t is lit / This that Ja Rule sh*t and 50 Cent.”
Clearly Ja Rule listened to the song because he took to Instagram and posted a picture with the caption “Which one supposed to be Ja Rule??? #Over30millionrecordsSOLD #IwriteallmyS–t #MeekvsDrake.”
He didn’t just keep his comments on Instagram, he took to Twitter to clarify his comments and to squash any belief that there were any comparisons to his and 50 Cent’s beef and Drake and Meek’s.
If we know anything aboutTyler Petty, I mean 50 Cent, then we know that he wouldn’t let his name come up in a conversation without saying something himself. Later the same day that Ja Rule took to Twitter, 50 Cent posted a tweet–that he later deleted–that read “Oh I herd what you said on the power 105 morning show, you fu**ing punk. Everybody know I put your ass to sleep.” 50 was referring to a radio interview that Ja did for “The Breakfast Club” back in 2014 where he talked about a brawl between the two of them.
Ja Rule didn’t let that slide, he fired back via Instagram, writing, “How u doin… this ho has a lot of balls!!! Unfortunately she also has a p**sy shut up before somebody put a d*ck in ya mouth.”
The timing of this beef is quite interesting considering that Ja Rule has a new song called “Wake Me Up” as well as an MTV docu-series, “Follow the Rules,” which premieres Oct. 26. Sound off below, is this for publicity or is this for real?
Can we all just take a moment of silence for Meek Mill and his career?
I tried to hold off on the updates because I figured yall, like myself, saw nothing but memes and shade for about three days on twitter and Instagram. But here’s a cute little update for those of us who missed some stuff while we were at work/minding our business/not beefing with rappers on the internet.
After Meek Mill came for Drake there was an eerie silence from Drake’s side. It seemed for a moment, Drake would take the high road and wait to throw some carefully crafted shade at Meek on some upcoming tracks.
But, oh, Aubrey wasn’t having it.
Instead, Drake released diss track after diss track. “Charged Up” which took playful shots at Meek Mill with lines about Meek’s career, Drake’s success, and a little nod towards his relationship with Nicki.
Meek Mill hopped back on social networks (his poor publicist) calling the track soft but wasn’t even slightly as vocal as he was in the days leading up.
Now we all know that nothing about Hollywood (or Houstatlantavegas) is what it seems – it’s all lies and lacefronts. But Meek Mill decided last night he was going to let it all hang out. He tore Drake apart and blasted him for having a ghostwriter. Allegedly, Meek and his people found out that Drake had a ghostwriter after recording RICO and Meek claims he wouldn’t have let the song get out if he knew Drake wasn’t the authour. Meek went on to claim Drake never promoted Meek’s music because Meek knew Drake was a fake.
If that’s the case – why is Meek all of a sudden putting Drake out there? Don’t most artists have ghostwriters? If memory serves, both Drake and Meek have credits on their albums for other people. Some suggest Meek may have gotten the truth about Nicki and Drake’s past and took to Twitter in a fit. Others speculate that Meek just has a bone to pick with the industry in general.
Rick Ross tweeted that Drake was better than Meek but soon deleted his tweet.
Let this be a reminder that celebrities are just your average folks with a lot more money and more time to kill.
On Friday Future dropped his anticipated album DS2 or Dirty Sprite 2. According to everyone on social media it is fire! I’ve listened to a few tracks and I must agree. Future is so hot right now and almost everyone is a fan. Can you blame them though? Future has been dropping hit after hit. DS2 includes the track Where Ya At feat. Drake produced by Metro Boomin that was released Thursday and the deluxe version includes the popular tracks Trap N*ggas, Real Sisters, and F*ck Up Some Commas.
If the release of DS2 did not already have Futurehive going crazy enough Future announced a mini free “Salute the Fans” tour that kicks off today in ATL. Tomorrow Future will be in Chicago, the next day New York, and the tour will conclude in L.A. on Thursday.
Remember when we first received word that Diddy and Drake got into a fight at Club LIV during DJ Khaled’s 39th birthday party?
Well, originally everyone believed that their little incident was over Cassie, but it turns out that was just a classic rumor that spread. Instead the two were actually fighting over money.
According to TMZ, Diddy was mad at Drizzy for moving forward with a song that he was supposed to be in on. Sources say producer Boi-1 da approached both Diddy and Drake with the song to record 8 months ago, but unfortunately Diddy just sat on it. Well, Drake was tired of waiting and went ahead and record the song on his own and it’s done well, which really ticked Puff off. At the club, on Monday, Diddy saw Drake for the first time since the song released.
Sources close to Diddy say he confronted Drake, and when Drake blew him off … well let’s just say that was one of his worst mistakes.
“You’ll never disrespect me again,” Diddy said just moments before punching Drake. Drake later ended up in the ER because during all the commotion he was hit in his shoulder and irritated an old injury.
Drake just can’t stop bumping heads with people, but as far as the song goes and by what we know I would have to say that I don’t blame him. Drake is all about making hits so of course if he’s feeling the fire under him to do so he’ll do whatever he thinks is necessary to make sure the name “Drake” stays relevant.
Now as for Diddy on the other hand, who said he wasn’t passionate about his music?
Although he was in the wrong for punching Drake in the face, I do understand him when it comes to making money, which was the moral behind the song. Now granted, Puff just can’t go around punching people because he doesn’t get his way. Plus a club is just not the best place to talk business especially with a bunch of alcohol around when people develop a little liquid courage.
Do you agree with Diddy for being mad after Drake moved forward with a song that they’d just been sitting on for 8 months?
Nicki has been giving us nothing fierceness lately.
Nicki Minaj had no shame in her game on the set of her “Only” video shoot, featuring Drake and Lil’Wayne.
The music video appears to be nothing like her usual booty shaking videos. It seems that she took things a step further and went with a Nazi theme, and she looks amazing. The Anaconda rapper had no problem with showing off her slim thick physique for this video either.
After the shoot, she shared many flawless behind the scenes pictures of herself and label-mates, and boy was a sight to see.
The bootylicious beauty left little to the imagination as she stood tall, in all black, wearing open-toed platforms, a sheer mesh bodysuit, and topped it off with a black laced veil! Now of course, Nicki couldn’t reveal all her goodies to us, so she covered up just enough wearing a black matching panty and bra set. You can only imagine what Drake and Wayne must have been thinking as she pranced around them, but that’s none of my business.
“Only” is the second single featured on her debuting album Pink Print, which is scheduled to release on December 15th.
What do you think about Nicki’s outfit? Was it a bit too much or did she slay it just right? Comment below!
If we’re not talking about Tyga and Drake’s snafu we’re talking about Nicki Minaj. It was just in July when Drake proved to be a man of many talents when he hosted the ESPY awards. Following in his footsteps is Nicki hosting this year’s MTV EMAs, European Music Awards, in Glasgow. She’ll be ruling the night not only as a host, but as a performer as well.
It’s a barbie takeover of course!
Since the announcement, Nicki has really been getting into character for her upcoming gig. To get us ready, the network has released a promo video showing what life would be like after the EMAs. The Nicki takeover is taken to another level, with “Anaconda” playing in the background, everyone will be rocking Nicki Wigs, Nicki Minaj slot machines, and even a Nicki “Anaconda” flag on the moon.
So does this mean we can expect the bootylicious barbie to drop her forthcoming album? We wouldn’t be surprised! It’s a Nicki takeover, remember?
Don’t send for Drake because when he comes for you he may just hit you where it hurts.
If there’s one thing that Drake knows its industry beef! Especially since he’s beefed with many big named artist like Jay-Z, Kanye, and Kendrick Lamar. Well this time his problem is with Tyga.
Yesterday, in a straightforward interview with Vibe, Tyga held nothing back when he confessed that he doesn’t like his former label mate, Drake, because he was “fake”. He went on to say that his relationship with Drake, and Nicki Minaj, was forced because they were on Young Money together, and they never really clicked.
This morning Drake had no problem with retaliating by doing one of the worst things a man could ever do to another man, especially when messing with his territory – he doubled tapped Blac Chyna’s Intragram pics! Five to be exact.
And now we see just why Tyga may have never rocked with Drake from the start! But could Tyga’s disinterest in Drake steam from more than just their different personalities?
Back in 2010, Drake released a song titled “Miss Me” where he mentions his desires for Blac Chyna:
Call up King of Diamonds and tell Chyna it’d be worth the flight I’ll be at my table stacking dollar’s to the perfect height Work something twerk something basis She just tryna make it so she right here gettin naked I don’t judge her, I don’t judge her But I could never love her cause to her I’m just a rapper And soon she’ll have met another
Whoa there, did he really say that? He sure did!
The irony of this is that a year later, at Tyga’s 22nd birthday party, he and Blac Chyna publicly they were dating. However, according to Nicole Bitchie, just six months before that Lil’Wayne and Drake reportedly made it rain $25,000 on Blac Chyna and her King of Diamonds co-workers Memorial Day Weekend.
This isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last time that Drake beefs with another rapper because of a girl. Remember Serena?
Young Money rapper Tyga had a little more to talk about than just his new album.
In a recent interview with Vibe, the “Faded” rapper expressed his frustrations with not being able to release his forthcoming album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. Tyga then went on to talk about his disinterest in a few members within the Young Money Family, in particular, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
He revealed that he was forced to like them because they’re on the same label. Well, it’s clear to see that Tyga doesn’t conform to fake friendships even if it is for the look of the business.
“Yeah, I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki,” Tyga says. “I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is.”
He’s attached to Young Money solely for Lil’Wayne!
“At the end of the day the reason why I signed to Young Money is because of Wayne. Not because of Drake, not because of Nicki. It was because of Wayne and my relationship with him,” he states. “I try to be cool with everybody, but sometimes, everybody just has different personalities, motives, and different characters. When you realize that, you realize that’s not a place where you want to continue to grow.”
With Tyga having yet to hit his sales goal, despite “Rack City’s” quadruple platinum certification, it’s understandable to see why he cares to leave Young Money. His third album, Hotel California, was a total flop and it’s time for a change, especially if he wants to gain the attention that he’s been craving from fans.
Do you feel that its best that Tyga becomes an independent artist?
